Wine Pick #1:
Alpha Box & Dice Zaptung Glera

From Australia and the passionate, slightly bonkers folks at Alpha Box & Dice, whose goal is to create an alphabet of wines from A to Z, comes this wonderful sparkler made from the same grape, Glera, that is the basis of Italian Proseccos. This "Z" continues its mission to showcase New World environments and their interpretations of Old World styles. In pursuit of this, they've sourced only the best grapes from South Australia, in this case, the Murray-Darling River Basin. In their own offbeat words, "We once told people the bubbles got in the wine when lightning struck the tank...the story stuck!"
