Around four months of aging in Slavonian Oak barrels soften this medium-bodied, dry, red-fruit-forward wine. Lively acidity and a solid tannin structure. Hints of chocolate and undertones of earthiness, attributable to the Dalmatian soils. Grapes from a warm climate on the rocky soils near the Adriatic Sea.
A lighter-bodied, ruby-colored red, with tangy, fruity notes on the palate—cherries, damsons, and the like. Richly flavored, with ripe tannins and some acidity. There is a slight, underlying spice to this wine.

Made with 100% chardonnay from their Tucker Lane vineyard in Southold, NY. Fermented with wild yeast and unfiltered. 1/3 pressed into oak, 1/3 into stainless steel, and the rest fermented with the grape skins for 2 days before pressing into the barrel. Fresh and fruity with a crisp citrus finish.
