Tasting Profile: Fresh, crisp citrus & kiwi aromas show first on the nose. The palate offers grilled Seville orange with a hint of dried strawberry flavors, leading to a savory, spicy mouthwatering finish. This was the infamous year for wildfires in the Willamette Valley which made this “Blanc de Noir” almost a necessity in that the gentle pressing and extremely limited skin contact made moot concerns about smokiness in the wine. It’s always a treat to drink the wines Bill Holloran releases and this one is no exception.
