1 Bottle - Farmstrong Field Rosé 2019: A playful but serious “taste of summer” rosé of old vine Carignan and Zinfandel from the one and only Faith Armstrong (Get it?  FArmstrong!) of Onward Wines.

1 Bottle - Queen of the Sierra Rorick Heritage Vineyard White Blend 2019: Matthew Rorick’s “Rorick Heritage Vineyard” focuses on old-world and mostly fringe varietals, giving this white blend almost as much character as he exudes himself. Composed primarily of Chardonnay, Verdelho, and Muscat, the wine shows the aromatic complexity and textural presence that are the hallmarks of wines grown on the limestone of this estate.  Here’s yet another rare creature from the producer of Forlorn Hope.

1 Bottle - Birichino Malvasia Bianca 2018: Alex Kraus and  John Locke are responsible for putting together this gorgeous, aromatic white wine experience. As they put it: “Originally of Greek origin, Malvasia Bianca threaded her way through the forests of Calabria before slipping ashore in California by the cover of darkness. Her fragrance of jasmine, lime blossom, and elderflower suggests something quite sweet and sybaritic, though as the first sip passes the lips, she is revealed bone dry, crystalline and clear.”

1 Bottle -  Field Recordings ‘Fiction’ Red Blend 2018: Andrew Jones of Field Recordings is all about finding those underdog vineyards with untapped potential, and then making soulful, unpretentious wines with them. 36% Paso Robles Zinfandel blended with Cabernet Franc, Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache, Touriga Nacional, and Alicante Bouschet… the blend in this is kinda nuts, but we love it!

1 Bottle - The Folk Machine ‘Parts & Labor’ Red Blend 2019: The ex-professional skateboarder turned winemaker Kenny Likitprakong brings us this Côtes-du-California-styled bistro red for all of your Barbeque needs this summer.  Not to be taken lightly, this is a 100-year-old, organically farmed Carignane with a dash of single-vineyard, cool-climate Monterey Grenache, and a smidge of Mendocino Barbera for a California flair.

1 Bottle - Broc Cellars ‘Love Red’ Red Blend: Chris Brockway’s Love Red blend is 77% Carignan, 15% Valdiguié, and 8% Syrah.  If you want to talk about a perfect summer red, the experience of drinking this wine is like eating sun-ripened wild raspberries off the vine.  Throw this bottle in your next picnic basket, or heck, even your beach bag, and your day just got 100% better.
