Under The Radar Wines
(that need to be on your dinner table)!
Mont Gravet Carignan 2016
An earthy and fruity blackberry aroma. A welcoming, almost figgy aroma, acidity that sits nicely between the fruit and the earthiness, and just enough tannins to do the job. It's everything you could want in $10 wine - or $15 wine, for that matter. This is the kind of the $10 Hall of Fame was made for.
Mondeco Dao Branco 2015
A blend of Encruzado and Gouveio, this is a soft, creamy and fruity wine. It has no wood aging, emphasizing the ripe apricot and pear fruits. The aftertaste is crisp and bright.
Mondeco Dao Tinto 2011
Ruby red color. Aromatically rich with red fruits, flowers, menthol and even a touch of minerality. In the mouth good acidity, round tannins, medium body and a mouth-ripe fruit aroma with a floral touch. Elegant and long finish. Wine of great gastronomic vocation.
