North Hill Reserve Pinot Noir 2014
Just a ton of wine for the money here! A fairly complex nose of red and black fruit like cranberry and raspberry. There's an impressive layering of fruit that includes savory notes of berries and black currants with some earthy qualities. Well balanced and very good acidity and there is enough structure to suggest this wine spent time in small oak barrels. What a great Oregon Pinot at this price!
Coeur de Terre - Pinot Noir 2014
91 points Wine Enthusiast
Crafted principally from estate-grown fruit, this has the complexity and downright panache of a far more expensive bottling. Mixed brambly red fruits combine seamlessly, punching through to a lingering finish etched in minerals. What a terrific value!
Evesham Wood - Blanc du Puits sec 2014
This is mostly Pinot Gris, with a small addition of Gewürztraminer, with all of the fruit coming from a 1986 planting at the winery's Evesham Wood estate vineyard. Vintage notes from the producer: "Luckily 2014 delivered significantly higher yields over 2013 along with outstanding quality, and the 2014 Blanc du Puits Sec is a prime example of that... The nose leaps from the glass with bright jasmine, honeysuckle and rose followed by flavors of pear and a nice balance of weight on the palate and bright acidity, finishing with spice from the Gewürztraminer."
