WINES OF THE WEEK
Sommariva Conegliano Valdobbiadene
Prosecco Superiore Brut
91 Points Decanter
This is a fantastically complex Prosecco: tart Granny Smith apples and ripe and creamy Meyer lemons move into tropical fruits like lychee and pineapple. The palate is rich but dry, with just a tease of toastiness that draws favorable comparisons with Champagne.
Badia A Coltibuono Chianti Cetamura 2017
Intense bright ruby red, cherry and blackberry nose with cinnamon and clove nuances. Full and well-balanced, soft but tasty, with good structure. Pleasant acidity, clean and persistent aftertaste.
Pair with first courses, meats with sauces and cheeses. Organic.
Fontana Candida Frascati Secco 2018
Bright, pale straw color. The delicate fragrance of wild-flower and fruit, especially hawthorn and Golden Delicious apples. Dry flavor, soft and fruity. Fresh lively character. The elegant, slightly bitter aftertaste of almonds.
