Try Something New Month!
Massaya Beqaa Valley Blanc 2017
Fruit for Massaya Blanc grows on the foothills of the Mount Lebanon mountain range at soaring altitudes. The blend is comprised of equal parts Obeidi, Rolle (Vermentino), Clairette, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay, all coming from an average of 20-year-old vines. Grapes are hand-picked and brought back to the Faqra winery in small crates, where they are direct pressed and fermented in a combination of foudres and demi-muids. The cuvée is bottled after eight months of aging on the lees, which creates a balanced and textured wine full of white flower and citrus notes.

Viña Maitia Aupa Pipeño 2019
Grapes: Pais & Carignan
This wine is a blend of 80% Pais and 20% Carignan from the southern Maule region of Chile and is made in an old-style called Pipeño. The wine is light in color with bright notes of crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, and rose petals that lead into underlying hints of dried herbs, mint leaves, fennel, and thyme. This fruit-driven, easy-drinking wine with a bit of animal has fresh acid with low tannin and can be enjoyed with a slight chill.

Perlage Fattoria di Vaira Vino Bianco 2018
Organic Falanghina and Trebbiano Grapes
Round and fresh with notes of golden apple and dried fruits. Round and elegant in the mouth. The white grapes used to produce Fattoria Di Vaira wine is grown in accordance with biodynamic viticulture. This pays very careful attention to the relationship between the natural components and their role, in order to preserve soil biodiversity and ensure the health of the vines.
