Palladino Barbera D’Alba 2018
Region: Barbera d’Alba, Piedmont, Italy
Tasting profile: Sustainably farmed and made vegan. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 8 months in large barrels. A low-tannin easy-drinking red with good acidity. This Barbera is a versatile wine providing notes of red berries, dried herbs, and a touch of clove.
Food pairing: From pizza and tomato-based dishes to steak and even spiced salmon.
Gagliardo Fallegro Favorita 2020
Region: Langhe, Piedmont, Italy
Tasting profile: Similar to the Vermentino vine, but grown far from the sea in Piedmont where the climate and sandy soils make it fresh and salty with many fresh citrus and green fruits.
Food pairing: Try it with white fish, fresh soft cheeses like goat cheese, and pizza.
Tenuta Garetto Grignolino D’Asti 2019
Region: Grignolio d’Asti, Piedmont, Italy
Tasting profile: Hand-harvested from certified organic vineyards. A ruby red color with aromas of raspberry and intense floral notes. A dry thirst-quenching palate while snappy at the same time with fresh red fruit flavors.
Food pairing: A good pairing with roast chicken, mushrooms, and fish soups.
