WINES OF THE WEEK
WINES FOR THE FEAST!
Ken Wright Cellars ‘Willamette Valley Pinot Noir’ 2018
The Ken Wright Cellars ‘Willamette Valley Pinot Noir’ is many of the single vineyard Pinot Noir sites all in one bottle. Ripe rainier cherry, red plum, and blackberry are nestled between notes of rose petal, cedar, and turned earth. The wine is vibrant and lively on the palate with a generous finish.
Truchard ‘Roussanne’ Carneros
Roussanne from California! Rich aromas of green apple, honeydew melon, highlighted with pineapple and vanilla. The palate has subtle flavors of nectarine, peach, and fresh pear. Bright acidity provides a crisp finish of citrus, mineral, and spice, and pairs well with seafood, poultry, and many spicy dishes.
Le P’tit Paysan Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
92 Points on Wine Enthusiast
From a secret selection of old Cabernet vines, Ian Brand delivers aromas of dried blackberry, leather, cocoa, and a touch of lavender on the very dry nose. The palate is tightly wound with tannins and a rocky minerality, offering flavors of black currant, pastry, and coffee bean.
