Mistinguett Cava Brut 1.5L NV
Lovingly nicknamed the Champagne of Spain, Cava blends Xarello, Macabeo, and Parellada grapes ferment them traditionally and employ extensive aging in caves to achieve these wines. A mix of apple, stone fruit, mineral, and yeast aromas leads you to a firm palate that's dry and tight. This brut nature is a touch salty, with apricot and orange notes. On the finish, the yeasty and bready complexity is positively mouthwatering.
VINI ‘Vini Vidi Vici’ Merlot, Thracian Valley, Bulgaria 2016
This Bulgarian Merlot opens with attractive aromas of brambly fruit, stewed black currants, dark plum, leather, and rosemary. A wine with a light-to-medium body and whispers of cocoa nibs and marinated strawberries. Finishes with soft tannins and a suggestion of oak. Merlot for every day.
Fado Portugal White Blend 2018
Straw yellow with a light green hue. Ripe apricot and spice aromas. Intense fruit and a zesty acidity that lingers on the palate. It is a blend of three white grapes native to the Alentejano region of Portugal.
Riojana Organic Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
This is a sophisticated wine with concentrated, succulent black cherry and cassis, spicy overtones, and smooth, firm tannins. Enjoy with pasta, grilled steak, pork chops, or sharp cheeses.
Sola Winery ‘Columbia Valley’ Sauvignon Blanc 2017
90 Points on Wine Enthusiast
This Mendocino winery is committed to creating the highest quality west coast wines, all while keeping their prices as low as possible. This Sauvignon Blanc is more than approachable. Generous aromas of citrus, herb, and tropical fruit are followed by lean, puckering, white grapefruit flavors. Pronounced acidity along with a lengthy finish.
Vignato ‘Primo Incontro’ Veneto Frizzante NV
Primo Incontro (First Encounter) is named for the wine’s suitability for casual meet-ups among friends. It is a yeasty brew of ground-up minerals bisected by a bolt of laser-sharp, mouth-watering acidity. No filtration, no disgorgement, no sulfur—this is an unadulterated, bone-dry, low-alcohol Garganega frizzante from the unheralded volcanic hills of Gambellara in Northern Italy. It’s an encounter well worth repeating.
