Wine Talk 4/10-4/16!

2015 Mondego Munda Mondeco Vinho Branco
Wines from this house are getting world-wide attention and scores to match! A blend of indigenous grapes, Encruzado and Gouveio create a nose that is bright and citrusy with a crisp mineral streak. A vibrant palate follows with flavors of sweet lemon and apricot pit. The wine is medium-bodied with herbal notes, bright, balanced acidity and a long mineral finish. Perfect as an aperitif and with all things seafood!

2014 Rocheterrier Bordeaux Rouge
Finding good Bordeaux for under $15 is no small feat. Finding one for $10? Even better! A complex bouquet of red fruits lead to a palate that is dry, savory and structured- the Rocheterrier shows dark fruit and a solid core of tannins.
A GREAT "house red!"

2015 De Forville Piemonte Chardonnay
Brisk and clean yet rich and full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel. Serve with starters- cheese and light meats or pour freely with rich seafood dishes. A wonderful alternative to new-world- style Chardonnay!
