WINES OF THE WEEK 11/6-11/12!
Acacia Chardonnay Unoaked 2016
Bright and fresh, this 2016 Unoaked Chardonnay is all about the pure varietal character of the grape, without the influence of oak aging. The enticing aromas and mouthwatering flavors brim with citrus, Fuji apple and pear notes, with a hint of apple blossom. The clean, fruit-focused flavors culminate in a crisp finish, inviting you back for another sip. Pairs with: Pumpkin Soup, Roasted Dry Brined Turkey, Cornbread Stuffing, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Trio of Crostini, Spring Frittata, Warm Leek and Asparagus Salad, Spiced Maple Glazed Ham, Yukon Gold and Sweet Potato Gratin, Spiced Cashews, Bronzed Swordfish and Grilled Pork Chops.
M-A-N Chenin Blanc 2016
A crisp, expressive, medium-bodied wine. Vibrant aromas of quince and tropical fruit. On the palate, fresh stone fruit and apple flavors are backed by refreshing acidity and minerality. A versatile food wine that will pair well with poultry, shellfish and vegetable dishes. Also, fabulous as an aperitif for a hot summer afternoon.
Lincoln Peak Marquette 2015
A rich dark dry red wine with notes of black currant, black cherry, and a lingering spice. With smooth tannins, Marquette is delicious with hearty meals like lasagna Bolognese, pasta with wild mushrooms, thick stew, or a red lentil burger. Let Marquette breathe well before enjoying, either with an aerator or by decanting in advance.
