WINE TALK 11/13-11/20

WINES OF THE WEEK 11/13-11/20!

WINES FOR THE FEAST
North Hill Pinot Noir 2015
Displaying a light ruby hue. Bright berry fruit escapes from the glass, yet a deeper inhale earns you notes of light earth and a hint of baking spice. The palate is awash with fresh red fruits and a touch of underlying minerality. The combination of soft acidity and mellow tannins make this elegant, 100% Pinot Noir extremely quaffable. I would even recommend drinking this light-bodied red slightly chilled, at around 60 degrees, on one of our few remaining warmer fall days. The Holloran North Hill Pinot Noir has great versatility and can be paired with whole fish, grilled pork loin, and roasted poultry, especially turkey!
$12.99

Camplazens Viognier 2015
Straw yellow in the glass with green and golden hues, this powerful white wine has a rich and elegant bouquet of apricots, pineapple and violet. The sensations on the palate is full and rounded palate with a fruity structure that is both sweet and stylish, while presenting a surprising freshness, persistence and depth. A super light and dry wine.
