Wines of the Week!

2014 Chateau Toutigeac Bordeaux
Well rounded, expressive Right Bank-style Claret with complex aromas and smooth tannins. Classic flavors of cassis, black cherry and rich raspberry with notes of mint, licorice and green bell pepper. Medium-bodied, fruity yet firm with excellent balance. Good finish with an undertone of redcurrant.
Stylish and silky.
50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and
15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
$11.99

2015 Fuso Verdicchio "le Salse"
Beautifully structured with racy minerality and more than ample body. Tangerine and green apple, and a hint of salinity make this a thirst-quenching, easy-going, versatile white wine.
$12.99

2015 Shelburne Vineyards "Crimson Sails"
Marquette Dry
Until now, all of this vineyard's Marquette wines were aged for at least six months in oak barrels. This new wine from our friends just south of us has been fermented and aged only in stainless steel tanks, providing more pure fruit flavors. We were surprised at this new offering as it could easily reside next to any of the Cru Beaujolais on our shelves-possessing the structure to hold up to lamb, a Bourgogne or Coq au Vin.
$16.99
