Wines of the Week!
2014 Poggio Anima Montepulciano "Samael"
The Poggio Anima is anything but simple. It is 100% Montepulciano, from a single vineyard in Chieti with berry fruit, cherries and woodsy aromas. The grapes were handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tanks with frequent pump overs to soften tannins. Definitely a hit!

2015 Balnea Verdejo
The Balnea shows brilliant yellow lemon hues. On the nose are classic scents of citrus, tea and hints of savory herbs. The body is light, creamy and delicate. On the palate there's bright acidity, citrus and herbal notes followed by bitterness, minerality and a clean finish found on the best Verdejos. Take a detour from the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blancs and discover the remarkable wines of Spain!

Shebang Red Blend
This wine is a blend of mainly Zinfandel, and is non-vintage, which means that there are several different vintages of wine combined to create the deliciousness that's inside each bottle. Robert Parker says, "This is becoming one of the hottest red wine values in California...There are 3,500 cases of this beauty, so readers should be buying it by the case. A gutsy California Cotes du Rhone-like effort, it boasts plenty of peppery, meaty, roasted Provencal herb notes intermixed with kirsch liqueur and spice box characteristics."
