WINES OF THE WEEK 1/15-1/21!

Mauro Molino Barbera D'Alba 2016
Bright crimson ruby in color, with spicy red fruit aromas showing notes of wild herbs and forest fruit. Juicy red fruit flavors in the mouth, with beautifully balanced acidity. A very friendly, easy drinking red with lovely fruit from start to finish.

Iapetus - Substrata 2016
A production of Shelburne Vineyard
Grapes for this wine were destemmed and crushed, then sent to tank to soak on their skins for several hours before pressing. Juice was cold settled and subsequently racked into three hungarian oak barrels, one new and two one-year old, to ferment. Upon completion of fermentation, the wine was aged sur lie for nine months, with battonage performed weekly for the first three months.

Crotin - Freisa D'Asti 2014
Garnet red. Distinctive and soft with hints of raspberry and of rose. Agreeable, fresh with very affable taste of raspberry.
