Podere il Saliceto ‘Albone’ Lambrusco 2019
This is a surprisingly full-bodied wine made from the ancient Lambrusco Salamino grape of Emila Romagna. It is refreshingly soft, dry, and fresh and is texturally creamy with consistent mousse and delectable foam. The nose is vinous and red, with a full palate of blackberry and blueberry indicating the Salamino strain of the Lambrusco grape family. The finish is structured and lasting in a way that begs for a little cured meat, hard cheese, and mixed nuts.
