This beautiful Portuguese table wine strikes an incredible balance between big bold fruit and easy-drinking ‘quaffability’. There are bright notes of plum, blackcurrant, eucalyptus, rhubarb, and caraway. Dried figs and prunes give the wine richness and a slight extracted flavor profile, while roasted cherry flavors give it a little bit of vibrancy. While there isn’t a whole lot of tannins, there is a drier mid-palate profile which leads to a savory finish with some black olive characteristics. We recommend giving this wine a slight chill before imbibing.
