SPARKLING WINES OF THE WEEK
12/5-12/11!

Chandon Sparkling Rosé
Chandon, a benchmark of quality in the wine industry has produced this beautifully structured Sparkling Rosé. Fresh strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Medium bodied with a hint of yeast in the background, accompanied by a complex bouquet of rose petals and wild white flowers. A wine worthy of the Chandon pedigree! Produced Method Traditionnelle, this Californian does not stray far from its French heritage. It is a wonderfully seductive and elegant wine.

2015 Avinyo Petillant Blanc
Petillant is a vid'agulla, the Catalan name for prickly wine. This is a delicious, thirst quenching wine that hints at Muscat's floral and herbal qualities, but also shows great cut, with delicious citrus and fruit. Refreshing fizziness, and a dry finish that begs for another sip. So good!
$15.99

Francois Montaund Jura
François Montand, a descendant of a long line of winemakers from Champagne, moved to the Jura region in the 1940's and began making sparkling wines. He soon became regarded as a Jura specialist, and was instrumental in the creation of the Crémant du Jura AOC. Today, François Montand wines are still produced in the Jura region with strict adherence to méthode traditionnelle. This lively sparkler has notes of yeast, vanilla, flowers and hazelnuts on the nose. On the palate it offers Meyer lemon, pears and apples. Chardonnay grapes combine with Colombard and Ugni Blanc grapes to create an incredibly well-crafted bubbly.
Amazing value.
