Cellar Club #8- March

The Lion and the Lamb and the Ides of March
In Ancient Rome, Mars was both the god of war and agriculture. Most of his festivals were held in March, the month that bears his name. In the vineyard, it's a time when warm spring weather brings life to the vines in the northern hemisphere, while in the south grapes ripen ready for harvest.
This month's Cellar Club selections were cherry-picked from a fantastic group of wines that feature prominently in our March Mayhem Sale lineup (s
ave those dates, 3/17 thru 3/26!)
As always, our Cellar Club picks are made with an eye toward the exploration of new varietals and regions that many have yet to discover. Fear not the Ides of March, for they herald a delicious mayhem!
