Cheese Traders LOVES Fresh Tracks Farm Wines!
Dog River Red
Made from a blend of FTF-grown St.Croix and FTF-grown Marquette. St.Croix is an Elmer Swenson variety from Wisconsin that they've planted here in Vermont and made their own. The Marquette grape is a delicious, northern "grandchild" of the Pinot Noir, and is growing in popularity and prestige across colder wine regions. Both grape varieties are resistant to frigid temperatures and menacing diseases.
Suggested Pairings: Buffalo Chicken Quinoa Bites, home-made chili, mole sauces, and even Red Wine Brownies!

Scuro 2017
A dry rosé fermented from the darkest juice of their Marquette grapes. Crisp and complex, this wine showcases the darker side of rosé while retaining austerity and drinkability.  Scuro is made from Marquette grapes that are grown at Fresh Tracks Farm, hard-pressed to extract the deepest, most fragrant juice. Marquette is a cousin to the Frontenac grape and a "grandchild" of Pinot Noir. It continues to grow in popularity across colder wine regions for its hardiness and wine quality.
Suggested Pairings: Enjoy this wine as an aperitif, with a local cheese plate, and bring it out for your next dinner party!

Frontenac Gris Oak Aged
This reserve Frontenac Gris was aged in French oak for 14.5 months and bottle aged for 3 years. The wine has rich and elegant notes of honey, vanilla, toasted oak, baked pear, and pineapple. The naturally high acidity of the grape varietal keeps this lush wine lifted and youthful on the finish. It has the potential for further bottle aging, but we love the complexity and depth of this wine as we sip through each gorgeous glass.
