BEER OF THE WEEK
Closing out Fondue February are beers from the oldest brewery in Germany(and the world!) and one of the first in Vermont. Both of these work great in the making of Fondue or paired with other Alpine cheese.
The Shed Hellbrook Pilsner
Named for the rugged trail that climbs Mt. Mansfield, Hellbrook Pilsner features a straight-up Noble hop spiciness with a finish that’s as crisp as the season’s snowmelt, or a dip in your favorite swimming hole.
$10.49 4pk 16oz cans
Golden-yellow and bright, with 32 bitter units and quite hoppy compared to most of the other Pilsners. Weihenstephaner Pilsner comes up with a distinctive aroma of hops with a pleasant bitterness. This combination provides a balanced mix and guarantees great enjoyment. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.
