The term Radler originates from a drink called Radlermass (literally “cyclist liter”). This refreshment was originally created in a small town outside of Deisenhofen, just outside of Munich, in the 1920s by Innkeeper Franz Kugler. von Trapp's take on this historic brew is a refreshing blend of a light lager with grapefruit.
