Jumi Après Soleil
Jumi began ten years ago with Mike and Jürg at a street market in the Swiss capital of Bern. This small scale operation includes the contribution of only 60 families. At such a small scale, the farmers are able to take a hands-on approach to the health and well being of each of their animals. The cows are pastured in the warmer months and are never fed fermented feeds.
Aged 11 months in sunlight-filled caves. Après Soleil offers a firm texture with subtle crystallization and a distinctive nutty flavor. lt is fitting as an aperitif, friendly enough for a cheese platter. Be sure to stop Saturday, February 15th, from 2-5 pm when we are joined by Jumi Cheese for a free tasting of all of their delicious cheeses!
