The Urie family work and live on their Shadagee Farmstead in Craftsbury Common, Vermont. In 2009 a new state of the art dairy facility was built on the farm and this wonderful Vermont Farmstead Gouda was born! Made from the milk of the grass-fed cows this natural rind cheese is creamy, smooth and mild. This true labor of love is great as a table cheese, in sandwiches and with fruit. Our personal favorite use is in a salad with grilled plums and pecans. However you decide to enjoy this Vermont classic, it is sure to impress!
